LOCHKRAY
WHERE ARE THEY?
Lochkray are recorded, both in authenticated reports and mythological
accounts, in all areas of the world.

Traditionally, the Lochkray maintained their populations within caves, creating
municipalities within series of caverns, mining out complex chambers within
which they subsisted.  Following their major population decline in the second
millennium, the Lochkray began to move away from these cave-cities, as they
tended to leave them vulnerable to attack.  While their defenses allowed them
to slaughter off many of their assailants (See
The Vatican), once all points of
exit were identified, the caves would leave them, ultimately, trapped.

In most recent years, trends can be found with the Lochkray staying near large
urban centers around the world, doubtlessly taking advantage of the large
populations to assist with anonymity.  Lochkray rest during the day, and
cityscapes, with their tunnels, alcoves, alleyways and other deserted areas,
would generate a multitude of isolated locations for them to rest - and still allow
them to be close to the heaviest populations of prey.
It is unknown how many Lochkray still exist, but it is believed that their
numbers are on the rise once again.

Enhanced, the image more clearly shows a vast
underground lair, with a single individual (Lochkray)
standing in the foreground.  Notice the series of caves
and ladders visible in the distance - it gives perspective
to the awesome size of the cavern
